Forde Abbey Concert Society

Forde Abbey is host to one of the country’s most prestigious chamber music series, the Forde Abbey Concert Society. The Great Hall has an ideal acoustic for chamber music, having often been used for recording purposes. It is also a wonderful venue for concerts which take place during the summer months. Each season Forde Abbey attracts artists of an international level for a varied programme of music.

There are drinks and supper available before each concert and members are welcome to picnic in the gardens.

The 2010 concert season comprises four concerts which bring together some of the world's leading musicians for highlights from the chamber music repertoire.
