For Groups

Groups and coaches are welcome here at Forde Abbey, where the house, gardens, tearoom, pottery exhibition, plant centre and gift shop provide activities enough for a full day out.

Special rates are available for groups of 15 people or more and it is also possible to arrange for one of our experienced guides to take you around the house. To make the tours as informative and comfortable as possible they are conducted when the house is not open to other visitors. Therefore you can arrange a tour on Mondays (morning or afternoon) or in the morning of any day the house is open.

For a group visit on a Saturday, please contact us before confirming the date with your group.

2013 Group Rates
(for groups of 15+)
House and Gardens: £8.00 per person
Gardens with private guided tour of house: £9.50 per person
Gardens Only: £7.00 per person

School Groups
School Groups are welcome at Forde Abbey where a visit can be tailored to your individual requirements. Cost of entry is £4.00 per person. Please  This email address is being protected from spambots. For Coach Drivers
Coach drivers have free entry to the house and gardens and a free meal in the tearoom. Although the roads leading to Forde Abbey are narrow in places they are easily passable even for large coaches. To find out how to get here please click here. There is unlimited parking for coaches and cars and the Undercroft Tearoom seats up to 120 people.

The gardens, gift shop, tearoom, plant centre, pottery exhibition and loos are all accessible for the disabled. There is a computer presentation about the house in the Great Hall on the ground floor, for those who cannot manage the stairs .
