The Endellion Quartet
Thursday 14th May

Founded in 1979 the Endelllion Quartet has become known as one of the world’s great quartets. After 41 years they are in their final season and we are proud to have them here at Forde Abbey one last time. In celebration of Beethoven’s 25th Anniversary, their programme will start with the most radiant of the late quartet, Op. 127 in E flat major. Their second half will be another of the greatest works in the literature, Mozart’s G minor viola quintet, for which they will be joined by Douglas Paterson.
