Alls Well That Ends Well
July 28 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
After much consideration, we have sadly decided to cancel our Summer tours this year.
We are very sorry to do this but we have to consider the safety of our actors, audience members and venue staff. This is not a decision we have taken lightly, and we have already spent a significant amount of money on the shows. However, the longer we hold off ticket sales, the harder it is for us to plan ahead for the tours. We are completely self-funded and need incoming ticket money to put towards the rehearsal and tour costs. If all shows had to be cancelled and refunded, we would find ourselves in a very sticky place financially.
Both shows will be back in 2021 and we hope to see you then.
Folky Theatre presents Shakespeare’s classic tale of unrequited love. Helen, the orphaned daughter of a doctor, is in love with Bertram, the countess’ unloving son. When ordered by the king to marry her, Bertram refuses and leaves for war, saying that he will only accept Helena if she obtains a ring from his finger and becomes pregnant with his child.
Here begins our tale of passion, trickery and deceit and the lengths one will go to for love. Filled with Folksy’s wonderful live music, audience interaction and downright silliness!
Bring along your picnics, blankets and folding chairs to enjoy this wonderful open-air performance in the gardens at Forde Abbey.
Tickets will go on sale from 1st April through Folksy Theatre at http://www.folksytheatre.co.uk or may be bought from the Forde Abbey Gift Shop, in person.
