British pianist William Howard has long had a strong association with Czech music and received a medal from the Czech Minister of Culture for his performances of Janacek. The Carducci Quartet, received a Royal Philharmonic Society Award for their cycles of Shostakovich Quartets.

In this concert, Matthew and Emma Denton join William Howard in a programme which includes Shostakovich’s Second Piano Trio and Dvorák’s Dumky Trio, as well as Beethoven’s Ghost Trio.

Concert starts at 7:30 PM

Hall doors open at 6:30 PM. All seats are unreserved.

The Bar will be open from 6:30 PM and drinks will also be available during the interval.

Audience members are welcome to picnic in the gardens before the concert.

The Undercroft door will be open from 6:00 PM for those who prefer to picnic inside or in case of inclement weather.
