Described by The Sunday Times as ‘one of the world’s elite ensembles’, the Gaudier Ensemble was formed in 1988 by leading members of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. The first of their many recordings were made with the glorious acoustics at Forde Abbey and their Dorset connection has continued with their annual Cerne Abbas Festival. Their programme will include the Dvorák String Quintet, Op.97 and the Mozart Clarinet Quintet.

Concert starts at 7:30 PM

Hall doors open at 6:30 PM. All seats are unreserved.

The Bar will be open from 6:30 PM and drinks will also be available during the interval.

Audience members are welcome to picnic in the gardens before the concert.

The Tea Room door will also be open from 6:00 PM for those who prefer to picnic inside or in case of inclement weather.
