The Marriage of Figaro

After the success of their previous performances Wild Arts return in 2026 with The Marriage of Figaro.

Get ready for an afternoon of sparkling tunes, tangled romances, and razor-sharp wit as Wild Arts presents Mozart's comic opera in a new production directed by Olivier Award-winning international opera star Danielle de Niese. The Opera will be fully staged, in costume and sung in a new English translation by Danielle de Niese and Orlando Jopling.

The performances will take place in the beautiful Great Hall in the main house, with room for only 175 audience members.

The operas will be fully staged, in costume and sung in English by a cast of exceptional singers, with a chamber orchestra of top musicians, conducted by Wild Arts' Artistic Director Orlando Jopling.

You are welcome to arrive from 5pm to set up your picnic in the gardens, and bring food, drink, rugs, chairs, tables, friends, and candelabras. The performance will start at 6pm, with a 90-minute picnic interval at approximately 7:15pm before Act II starts at 8.45pm. Curtain down will be at approximately 10pm.

This event is SOLD OUT but you can join a waiting list for returned tickets.

Alternatively Wild Arts will be presenting An Evening of Opera the next evening, Thursday 23 July.
