ADMISSION INFO 2021

 

We are Open

Forde Abbey’s house, garden, plant nursery and coffee shop are open. There is no need to pre-book a time slot, but for ease of purchase you can either book a ticket online in advance, or pay on arrival in the shop.

As you’ll appreciate, this is a changing situation and we are following Government advice. Please ensure you check the website for any updates before you visit the gardens.

Opening Times


 

AreaOpening Times
GardensOpen daily until 31st October, 10.30am - 5pm (Last admission 4pm). The gardens will be open for snowdrop weekends in February and will re-open daily for the season on 1st March 2022.

The gardens will be closed on 1st October for a funeral.

There is no need to book a time slot. Tickets are available to buy online in advance, or in the shop on arrival. The loos will be open.
HouseOpen Tuesday to Fridays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays. 12 noon - 3.30pm (last admission).

Coffee ShopOpen daily until the 31st October, 10.45am - 4.45pm.
Shop and Plant CentreOpen daily until 31st October, 10.30am - 5pm.
Eeles PotteryOpen daily until the 27th October, 11.30am - 5pm. The exhibition will be re-opening 1st March 2022.

Memberships

As a member, you’ll enjoy free access to the house and gardens during normal opening hours (with the exception of charity events).

Groups

Groups and coaches are always welcome at Forde Abbey, where the house, gardens, coffee shop, pottery exhibition, plant centre and gift shop provide enough activities for a full day out.

 

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Forde Abbey on a short lead and there is always a bowl of water for thirsty dogs at the tearoom door.

Facilities

Free parking, gift shop, plant nursery and a coffee shop serving light lunches, snacks and cakes.

Membership Cards are not valid for some special events. (The list of special events may change throughout the year as new events are added to our calendar https://www.fordeabbey.co.uk/events/. If in doubt, please contact us before your visit.) Lost cards will incur a small replacement charge. We reserve the right to change the opening times without notice. The membership card can be used only by the named holder and remains the property of Forde Abbey, who reserve the right to withdraw the card at any time.
